Colchagua Valley – 1890’S Country House Reconstruction
2010 – 2012
This farm house was completely destroyed by the earthquake in February 2010.
Together with the family and architects, we redesigned the house, inspired by the original design. This included all the rooms, bathrooms, kitchen and terraces.
The project involved extensive restoration of elements from the original adobe house. The furniture that could be salvaged was reupholstered. Curtains and fabrics in general were replaced by new designs always maintaining the original character of the country house.
